Hint: For the three non-Classic levels, a satellite scans every three minutes so you can see where your enemy is positioned. Pay attention: a lot can change in three minutes.
Hint: To slow your fleet, hit the S key. Do this if you've set a course for the enemy but need more time to prepare your move before you reach him. To return to normal speed, hit S again.
Hint: If you fall under attack, ditch your most crippled fleet to take the brunt of the attack. Meanwhile, your remaining fleets regroup and repair themselves.
Hint: You can never be too rich or too thin, or have enough islands on which to make repairs. Protect your islands or flounder. Take over enemy and neutral islands whenever possible.
Hint: AWACS: keep them safe. They provide an abundance of information. Besides, they're damned expensive.
Hint: When first seeking enemy vessels on a grid, use small weapons. Once you've located an enemy ship, blow it away with your big guns.
