2.Intro
Constructor is a real-time strategy game, your objective is to build a
city, there are some modes that gives you differents objectives, this
game is not like Sim City. this game has several features that are not
real, like a 3 foot tall cockroach.
Constructor is an very old game and is not common to find help for it
the Constructor sequel is already on market with the name Street Wars
both games are very fun, but SW is more on war between towns, there is
a Constructor and a Street Wars demo to download
3.Quick guide
To start very quick on Constructor World, build a Wood factory, them
build a slum, them move a couple into the house, Voala this is the basic
of Constructor, now build the 2 other types of slum, voala, now you
have access to the Cementer Yard where you can build medium type buildings
like 3 new houses, a Gadget Factory, a Police Station and nasty friends.
4.Observations
The houses are separated in 6 groups:
The Slums, The dump, The American Type (AT)
The Millionaire (Mi) The Billionaire (BI) The Zillionaire (ZI)
The Slums, The Dumps, The AT, The Mi and the BI are separated in 3
new groups
The cheap, the good, the high quality
Slums are houses were only tenants of level 1 get in
Dumps are houses were only tenants of level 2 reproduce
At are houses were only tenants of level 3 reproduce
Mi are houses were only tenants of level 4 reproduce
Bi are houses were only tenants of level 5 reproduce
The Zi houses are houses that tenants of level 5 project
These houses are copies of real life structures
5.Beginner tips
- Try playing first alone
- Play on Constructor mode, where you don't have an objective
- Do not build nasty houses, Hippies, Thieves, Clowns...
- If you are playing alone, do not build a police station
- On the beginning of every game, be quick:
1. Build a Wood fac.
2. Restock 25 wood
3. Build 3 different houses
4. Sell them
5. Build a Cementer Yard
6. Restock 25 Cement
7. Build a Gadget Fac
6. Build a High quality Slum
7. But some trees on his house
8. But the worst fence
9. Make him have some baby workers
10. Repeat 6 to 9 steps
11. Wait you have 6 workers
12. Make 4 workers become a guider
13. Make a work gang with the guider and the 2 workers
14. Make some houses and make the tenants pay rent
This will be the base of your empire, when there are only a few
level 1 tenants make some babies, you should have at least 6 slums
when ever you need make those 6 tenants make babies workers, a few
months later you have a new work gang
- On slums but any tenant, any fence, upgrade in 1 level every room
of his house, and the bedroom must be on max upgrade
- On Dumps only but the left tenants, but a fence that have trees
upgrade his rooms on 1 level, the living room on 2 and the bed room
on maximum
- On At make the AT fence, its white and you have access to it
since the beginning of the game, upgrade every room in 3 levels
