Hint: If, like most people, you're using a standard two-button joystick,
configure it so you can push forward to accelerate and tap the top button for
brakes. This permits you to left-foot brake (that is, brake while keeping the
throttle on) for smooth speed transitions in the corners.
                               
Hint: When given the option, always take the car with the "A" grip rating. This
car will fly around corners, and you can make up for a low top-speed rating by
applying the first tip.

Hint: To access mirror (reverse track) mode or time attack mode, simply hold
down the spacebar when selecting your track or car. (The manual and online
help do not explain this trick very well at all.)
