Walkthrough
Manor 1: Go straight ahead towards the mannequins. There is a cinematic sequence
of Gogoud. You have to go for all 3 mannequins (in Gogoud’s order) to get the
key. On acquiring the key, cross the bridge and open the door with it.
Brigand 1: You now have to go to Toras, passing the bat place. A cinematic
sequence with Maliq; you pass the place with 2 wild boar; you cross the
drawbridge. You have to kill the guard and go and talk to Galadrielle. Then you
can enter Toras.
Toras 1: Find the well and go down into it by pressing on the button. In the
well, you should press on the blue button located below the place you have gone
down to. The latter activates a small footbridge which descends to the other end
of the well. You should hurry to get onto it and go up with it. Follow the path,
which goes towards the fortress.
Fort 1: Get onto the footbridges on either side of the fortress to operate the
2
crank-handles which enable you to enter the fort. Go on upwards, following the
path. Cinematic sequence of imprisonment.
Dungeon 1: Peer through the keyhole and push on Action when the executioner
passes by to steal the keys. Open the cell with the key. Open the bar on
Talboth’s cell and press on the blue button. Follow the path until you arrive in
the room where a magician is held prisoner. In this room, you will find Hype’s
weapons. You should take them. There is also a crank-handle to activate to free
the magician. Continue along the path as far as the exit.
Fort 1: Now you have to fight Granslak. Climb onto the mezzanine floor and hit
him until he falls over, then jump onto him. Go and get the dickey-front near
the
throne. You should go back the way you came in. Cinematic sequence of Talboth.
Return into the well to proceed to Toras.
Toras 1: Return to Brigand. Go where Maliz was and turn left to go to the
monastery.
Monastery 1: Cinematic sequence of Talboth. Kill him. Take the right-hand
direction and go into the monastery by the door to your right. On each floor
there is a crank-handle to operate in order to go to the top. (From the 1st
floor, you can jump into the hole to try to get the Electricus Magnicum Trinity
magic.) You should climb to the top in order to fight the fat monk who has the
jewel in his possession. Once beaten, you pick up the jewel and should go and
recharge it in the Sky. Return to Brigand.
Brigand 1: Go and see Zatila (he is just after the collection box you pass in
the
interior) and show him the dickey-front, agreeing to go to the Sky.
Sky 1: You should collect 40 Globulus. Once recharged, return to the Manor.
Manor 1: Go up to the sundial and knock on it until a beam of light appears. Go
onto it and knock on it again to go to Epok 2.
Manor 2 - Hype reaches the sundial at Gogoud's manor. There are two soldiers to
beat. (Optional.) Hype goes into Gogoud's secret room. Do the puzzle of the
secret door beforehand. Hype goes and reads Gogoud's journal which mentions the
laboratory. Hype advances into the cave where he picks up the electric 'Trinity'
magic.
Hype leaves the map, going off towards Brigand 2. On the way, there is a soldier
to beat and some bats. (Optional). ** If the bats are beaten, he receives a
reward. Hype leaves the map through the cave.
Brigand 2 - Hype is going towards Toras 2. On the path, there are two wolves to
beat in the glade. (Optional.) Hype enters Zatila's glade. He can talk to him.
Hype goes through a tree-trunk and the brigands' glade. Hype enters the next
glade; there is a brigand to beat. (Optional.) Hype goes along the log path.
There are two ghosts to beat. (Optional.)
Hype enters the next glade; there are bats to be killed. (Optional.) ** If the
bats are beaten, he receives a reward. Hype enters the Toras outpost. A guard
and
a woman are there to greet him.
Enters Toras.
Toras 2 - Hype can play the honeycomb game. If he destroys the ten honeycombs he
receives a reward. Hype talks to the townspeople. They tell him about Ragoth,
the
Park of Brave Men, a suit of magic armor and a three-headed dragon. Hype can do
the Toras 2 race. But for the moment it does not work. Hype cannot go into the
Park of Brave Men. No access pass. Hype goes towards the lab and enters it.
Lab 2 - Hype has two guards to beat. (Optional.) Hype goes into the prison. He
frees the Magi. They tell him about Ragoth. In order to continue, he must do the
sound puzzle. Hype goes into Ragoth's room. Ragoth runs away. Fight the suit of
magic armor. Pull on the handles to open the metal grille. Destroy the scepter
with the 'Trinity' ice magic. Hype goes into the library and up to the
astrolabe.
Astrolabe 2 - Hype fights Ragoth. Hype does the colored-handles puzzle. For the
magic ice 'Javelin'. Hype goes back into the laboratory.
Lab 2. ( 2nd Part) - Hype saves Gogoud with the ice 'Javelin'. Hype follows
Gogoud. Hype throws the ice 'Javelin' at the wall of fire. He presses the button
and follows Gogoud again. Gogoud gives Hype a mission to accomplish; Karon and
his Brigands. Hype leaves the laboratory and leaves Toras.
Brigand 2 - Hype goes towards the bat tree. A new passage is open. He beats the
brigands and pulls on the handle. Attacks Karon. Karon speaks to us. Accomplish
Karon's mission. Hype goes back into Toras 1 using the Toras 2 sundial. Hype
goes
to see Karon's father and shows him the bracelet. From there, Hype returns to
Toras 2 and the secret place near the bat tree. A brigand awaits him. Hype
speaks
to him.
Hype goes up to the blocked tree and presses the button. He goes up into the
brigands' village. He speaks to two brigands. Hype goes to see Karon and returns
the bracelet. She gives him the brigands' badge. Hype goes back to see the two
brigands from the beginning. They give him an access pass for the Park of Brave
Men.
Hype leaves the village.
Casino 2 - Hype gives access to the Parc of Brave Men to Sйnйkal. Hype fights
the
gladiator. Hype speaks to the presenter and goes to see the three-headed dragon.
Hype takes the fire 'Oracle'. Hype fights the three-headed dragon. Hype goes to
look for the armor and the jewel. Hype exits Park of Brave Men to Sйnйkal. Hype
goes to see Gogoud in his manor and speaks to him.
Brigand 2 - Hype goes to see Zatila and climbs onto his back to go to the Sky
and
charge up the jewel.
Sky 2 - Once charged, Hype goes back down to the brigand. Hype goes to a sundial
and onto the cloud sign (Epok 3). He taps on it twice and that's it – So long!
He's off again!
Manor3 – Speak to Gogoud and make your way through Manor3 to do the puzzle that
opens Gogoud’s secret room. Go down below and smash the wall of fire that holds
Rave prisoner. Speak to Rave. Go outside and cross the suspension bridge. Man3-
Brig3 link.
Brigand 3 – Make your way towards Toras3, passing through the treetrunk-tunnel,
crossing the forest and the glade, and making the Brig3-Toras3 link.
Toras3 – Cross the town of Toras3 and make the Toras3-Fort3 link via the roof
passage.
THE SEARCH FOR SЙNЙKAL’S WEAPONS
Fort3 – Pull down the 2 levers at either end of the 2 raised wooden footbridges
in order to lower the drawbridge. Enter Fort3 and climb the staircase to reach
the throne room. A cinematic sequence begins and a conversation between the
king,
Enost and Hype takes place. Next climb up to the mezzanine to speak to Sйnйkal
and the little prince. Then the time comes to leave Fort3 for Toras3.
Toras3 – Cross the town to reach the sundial, so as to time-travel to Epok2.
Toras2 – Go to the Park of Brave Men to confront Sйnйkal. Toras2-Casino2 link.
Casino2 – Confront Sйnйkal to retrieve his weapons and take them to Sйnйkal-monk
in Epok3. Leave Casino2.
Toras2 – Go to the sundial to return to Epok3. Time-travel.
Toras3 – Leave the town by the large main gate.
Brigand3 – Go towards Monast3. Brig3-Monast3 link.
Monast3 – Go through the first door in front of you. Then proceed straight on as
far as the wall. Lower the hidden lever to make the bridge turn round. Climb the
ladder and then go on into Sйnйkal-monk’s and Prince Taskan4’s hiding-place.
Give
weapons to Sйnйkal in order to then leave Monast3. Monast3-Brig3 link.
Monast3 – Return to Manor3 to go and speak to Gogoud.
SEARCHING FOR THE JEWEL AND FILLING IT UP
Manor3 – Cross the bridge to enter Manor3 and do the puzzle to open Gogoud’s
secret room. Go down and talk to Gogoud who sees to it that the hidden dolmen is
opened to go to City3. Leave Manor3.
Brig3 – Advance towards the dolmen situated just after the treetrunk-tunnel. Do
the puzzle to open the gate that leads to City3.
City3 – Cross City3 to go and defeat Evil-Hype. Once Evil-Hype has been
defeated,
Zatila reappears and gives your the 3rd jewel. The City3-Sky3 link is made
automatically.
Sky3 – Collect 60 globulus to fill up the jewel and return to the place you
first
appeared to make the Sky3-Brig3 link.
Brig3 – Head for Manor3. Brig3-Manor3 link.
THE SEARCH FOR THE ALMANACS
Manor3 – Near the sundial, talk to Gogoud and Nholin, then time-travel to Epok4.
The trip fails because of an ambush orchestrated by the guards and Hype returns
to Epok3. Gogoud then tells him to find the three almanacs in which the legend
of
Hype is written. The almanacs will prevent the guards from lying in wait for him
when he wants to travel to Epok4. Leave Manor3.
Brig3 – Head for Monast3 and pick up the monks’ almanacs.
Monast3 – Enter the monastery and climb from floor to floor to ring the bell at
the top. When you ring the bell, all the monks return to their respective
quarters to meditate. Hype can then go into their bookstore to pick up their
almanac on the quiet. Leave Monast3 when you have acquired the latter.
Brig3 – Head for the place where Zatila is, to go towards the entrance to Tower3
in Heaven3. Climb onto Zatila’s back.
Sky3 – Advance towards the tower and go down into the hole in the mist.
Tower3 – Kill the 3 ghosts in the first room to collect the 3 symbol sections
which – put together – form the symbol of evil. Go down through the tower via
the
different hidden entrances. In the teleporter room, select the symbol of evil to
hang on the wall to activate the teleporters. Get into the red teleporter, then
the yellow one, then the blue one, and you will be taken back to Enost’s room.
Be
careful not to be seen. You should pull on the suit of armor suspended in the
air
so that it falls. Enost goes towards the fallen armor to pick it up. Meanwhile,
go and get Enost’s almanac. Then get out of the place using the teleporters,
leave Tower3 and climb back onto Zatila’s back.
Sky 3 – Head for the hole for Brig3.
Brigand 3 – Go towards Toras3. Make the Brig3-Toras3 link.
Toras 3 – Head for the well to make the Toras3-Lab3 link.
Lab3 – Climb onto the sloping length of piping to go and activate the button
which opens the metal grille to the tapestry guards room. Behind the lava
fountain, there is the puzzle to activate the 4th length of piping. Climb up the
ladder to go and do the first puzzle which provides the key to open the lab door
and give the life potion to Koreltoh. Go into the lab (Koreloth is no longer
there, so we don’t really know why we’re going there, but never mind ... ). Come
back to do the puzzle to activate the 4th length of piping. Once the 4th length
of piping has been activated, you can do the puzzle to open the secret passage
in
the fireplace. When the fireplace is open, you can go and pick up the almanac
that is to be found there. Leave Labo3.
Toras 3 – Head for the exit for Brigand 3.
Brigand 3 – Head for Manor3.
Manor3 – Go into Manor3 to talk to Gogoud and give him the almanacs. Time-travel
to Epok4.
Manor4: You start off in Manor4 and must go directly to Toras4.
Brigand4: At the entrance to Toras, you must defeat the 3 guards in order to
open
the door.
Toras4: In Toras, you speak to the blacksmith and he says that you are awaited
at
the inn. Cut to: entering the inn. On the 2nd floor, you have to speak to Vibe:
she tells you to go and free the king from the fortress. She gives you the key
to
the dungeon. You head off for Fort4.
Fort4: You should lower the drawbridge and enter the fortress. Inside, use the
key to open the door leading to the dungeon.
Dungeon4: You reach a passage blocked by a wall. You must press the button
located at the end of the passage in the water. Once you have gone through this
door, the passage closes up again. The king is being held prisoner in a cage: to
raise it, you must operate the lever. You follow the king to the cells where the
queen and a guard are being held prisoner. You free them, using the key to the
cells, then you leave the dungeon by the same exit as the king and his gang.
Fort4: In Hype’s room, you take the magic. Before going out, you encounter
Gogoud’s ghost. He tells you that you must return to the lost city. You leave
the
fortress by the well or over the rooftops.
Toras4: You must go to the sundial to travel to Epok3 in Brigand3.
Toras3: You leave Toras3 by the door to go into Brigand3. Go to the dolmen to
make this trip. You activate the buttons in the right combination and then put
out the torches. The gate lights up.
City4: You must go to the end of the City but you must also stop at the last
stage in your ascent to take the ice magic from the left-hand wall. When you
reach the room of colors, you must do the puzzle. The clue to complete this
puzzle is on the sign to the left of the door. After doing the puzzle, Big Foot
[Grand Pied] appears. You take Jewel4 and Big Foot tells you that you must
collect the 4 standards and fill up Jewel4. Go back the way you came in.
Brigand3: You must go to Toras3 in order to travel through time.
Toras3: You travel through time.
Toras4: You should get out in order to go to Brigand4.
Brigand4: You go and see Zatila who tells you to get onto his back to fill up
Jewel4. You go up to the Sky.
Sky4: Fill up the jewel and then come back down again.
Brigand4: Return to Toras to go and see Vibe in the inn.
Toras4: At the inn, you talk to Vibe and she gives you Standard4. Now you should
leave for the other Epoks to find the other standards. Go to the sundial and
leave for Epok1.
Toras1: Go into the inn to speak to Klouthier. He informs you that Standard1 is
in the fortress. You travel to the fortress via the well. In the well, you must
press the button to make the platform go down. You go along the length of piping
and appear in the Fort.
Fort1: Activate the 2 levers to make the drawbridge go down. Then enter the
fortress. Go up to the throne and take Standard1 from behind it. Now return to
Toras1 by the same route.
Toras1: Go to the sundial and leave for Toras2.
Toras2: Go to the inn and speak to the innkeeper. He tells you to go and see
the
brigands in Village2. Leave for Brigand2.
Brigand2: Go to the big hollow tree to press the button and make the elevator
come down. Go up to the village.
Village2: You speak to the brigands and they tell you to go and see Karon in her
hut. You go to her hut and she awaits you there. She says that you should go to
the Monastery to find Standard2. She gives you the key to the Monastery. You
leave for Brigand2 by the same route.
Brigand2: Go to the Monastery and use the key to open the door.
Monast2: In Monast2, enter the Monastery and take the first door on the right.
Go
to the door at the back of the room. Go down below and kill (well – hurt!) the 2
guards to make the statue move. You should then confront 2 wicked tapestries.
Enter the other room and go as far as you can. The standard is there. Retrace
the
same route, in reverse, to exit the Monastery, though there will be new baddies
to defeat. Back to Brigand2.
Brigand2: Return to Toras2 for a new journey through time.
Toras2: Travel through time to Epok3.
Toras3: Go to the inn to speak to Laffyth. He tells you that Standard3 is in the
Park of Brave Men. You can access the Park through the forest. Set off for
Brigand3.
Brigand3: In the first glade, where there is a large tree , you will find a
passage to the right. This is the access-point to the Park.
Casino3: Cross the gulf by jumping on the pillars and heading to the right. Go
as far as the room with the large balls. Burst the barrels to the left so as to
activate the lever which raises the pillar in the middle of the balls. Once you
have activated the lever, try to get to the center, while avoiding the balls,
before the pillar goes down again. Once you have taken Standard3, return to
Brigand3 by the same route.
Brigand3: Now that you have all the standards, you can set off for the Tower. Go
to Toras3 to travel through time.
Toras3: Time-travel to Epok4.
Toras4: You should now go and see Zatila so that he can take you to the Tower.
Brigand4: Go and see Zatila and ascend into the Sky.
Sky4: Destination: the black Tower. You should land on the hole in the cloud.
Tower4: There is a scene cut when you enter the Tower. After Zatila’s death
(Sob!
Sob!), take the magic and, if you wish, you can repair your shield on the
lefthand plate. Then enter the Tower.
If you climb up straight away, your passage will be blocked by a door. You
should
go back down below to give Enost a smack. You then avoid the ghosts, go down the
ladder, dodge the death’s-heads and skeletons, before going through the secret
entrance behind the rocks. Go down once more and enter the trompe-l’oeil passage
to reach the teleporters. The combination is the same as before, namely (if you
face the wall through which you arrived): left, top right, right. You now go
back
to Enost’s lab and confront him. Take the key in the rubble and activate the
button on the wall in the adjoining room. Now go back to the top of the Tower,
heading back towards the teleporters. Once you are on top of the Tower, use the
new key to open the metal grille.
You come to a room with 2 guards, a metal grille and a ladder. To do the grille
puzzle, climb the ladder and activate the lever at the top. Jump down and
operate
the new lever to exit. Back in the barrel-room, operate this lever: the grille
closes and you climb back up the ladder. You are now in a new, round room, with
a
single lever. Activate it.
The tray rises. When the tray has finished rising, you must go up the stairway
and kill all the enemies you encounter on your way to the top to make the middle
column rise. When you are on the last floor and the column is flashing, climb
onto it and it will begin rising. If it does not flash, this is because you have
not killed all the enemies.
TopTower: Scene cut with Barnak. You can save this afterwards. Now for the fight
against DragonGai. You should touch him on the head while he is laughing – that
is, once he has finished breathing fire. Watch out for his beating wings which
stir up a wind that can blow Hype down to the bottom of the of the Tower.
DragonGai is dead ..
Another scene cut with Barnak and fight against Barnak. Beware of his magic
powers, and good luck!

Toras3 – Cross the town to reach the sundial, so as to time-travel to Epok2.
Toras2 – Go to the Park of Brave Men to confront Sйnйkal. Toras2-Casino2 link.
Casino2 – Confront Sйnйkal to retrieve his weapons and take them to Sйnйkal-monk
in Epok3. Leave Casino2.
Toras2 – Go to the sundial to return to Epok3. Time-travel.
Toras3 – Leave the town by the large main gate.
Brigand3 – Go towards Monast3. Brig3-Monast3 link.
Monast3 – Go through the first door in front of you. Then proceed straight on as
far as the wall. Lower the hidden lever to make the bridge turn round. Climb the
ladder and then go on into Sйnйkal-monk’s and Prince Taskan4’s hiding-place.
Give
weapons to Sйnйkal in order to then leave Monast3. Monast3-Brig3 link.
Monast3 – Return to Manor3 to go and speak to Gogoud.
SEARCHING FOR THE JEWEL AND FILLING IT UP
Manor3 – Cross the bridge to enter Manor3 and do the puzzle to open Gogoud’s
secret room. Go down and talk to Gogoud who sees to it that the hidden dolmen is
opened to go to City3. Leave Manor3.
Brig3 – Advance towards the dolmen situated just after the treetrunk-tunnel. Do
the puzzle to open the gate that leads to City3.
City3 – Cross City3 to go and defeat Evil-Hype. Once Evil-Hype has been
defeated,
Zatila reappears and gives your the 3rd jewel. The City3-Sky3 link is made
automatically.
Sky3 – Collect 60 globulus to fill up the jewel and return to the place you
first
appeared to make the Sky3-Brig3 link.
Brig3 – Head for Manor3. Brig3-Manor3 link.
THE SEARCH FOR THE ALMANACS
Manor3 – Near the sundial, talk to Gogoud and Nholin, then time-travel to Epok4.
The trip fails because of an ambush orchestrated by the guards and Hype returns
to Epok3. Gogoud then tells him to find the three almanacs in which the legend
of
Hype is written. The almanacs will prevent the guards from lying in wait for him
when he wants to travel to Epok4. Leave Manor3.
Brig3 – Head for Monast3 and pick up the monks’ almanacs.
Monast3 – Enter the monastery and climb from floor to floor to ring the bell at
the top. When you ring the bell, all the monks return to their respective
quarters to meditate. Hype can then go into their bookstore to pick up their
almanac on the quiet. Leave Monast3 when you have acquired the latter.
Brig3 – Head for the place where Zatila is, to go towards the entrance to Tower3
in Heaven3. Climb onto Zatila’s back.
Sky3 – Advance towards the tower and go down into the hole in the mist.
Tower3 – Kill the 3 ghosts in the first room to collect the 3 symbol sections
which – put together – form the symbol of evil. Go down through the tower via
the
different hidden entrances. In the teleporter room, select the symbol of evil to
hang on the wall to activate the teleporters. Get into the red teleporter, then
the yellow one, then the blue one, and you will be taken back to Enost’s room.
Be
careful not to be seen. You should pull on the suit of armor suspended in the
air
so that it falls. Enost goes towards the fallen armor to pick it up. Meanwhile,
go and get Enost’s almanac. Then get out of the place using the teleporters,
leave Tower3 and climb back onto Zatila’s back.
Sky 3 – Head for the hole for Brig3.
Brigand 3 – Go towards Toras3. Make the Brig3-Toras3 link.
Toras 3 – Head for the well to make the Toras3-Lab3 link.
Lab3 – Climb onto the sloping length of piping to go and activate the button
which opens the metal grille to the tapestry guards room. Behind the lava
fountain, there is the puzzle to activate the 4th length of piping. Climb up the
ladder to go and do the first puzzle which provides the key to open the lab door
and give the life potion to Koreltoh. Go into the lab (Koreloth is no longer
there, so we don’t really know why we’re going there, but never mind ... ). Come
back to do the puzzle to activate the 4th length of piping. Once the 4th length
of piping has been activated, you can do the puzzle to open the secret passage
in
the fireplace. When the fireplace is open, you can go and pick up the almanac
that is to be found there. Leave Labo3.
Toras 3 – Head for the exit for Brigand 3.
Brigand 3 – Head for Manor3.
Manor3 – Go into Manor3 to talk to Gogoud and give him the almanacs. Time-travel
to Epok4.
Manor4: You start off in Manor4 and must go directly to Toras4.
Brigand4: At the entrance to Toras, you must defeat the 3 guards in order to
open
the door.
Toras4: In Toras, you speak to the blacksmith and he says that you are awaited
at
the inn. Cut to: entering the inn. On the 2nd floor, you have to speak to Vibe:
she tells you to go and free the king from the fortress. She gives you the key
to
the dungeon. You head off for Fort4.
Fort4: You should lower the drawbridge and enter the fortress. Inside, use the
key to open the door leading to the dungeon.
Dungeon4: You reach a passage blocked by a wall. You must press the button
located at the end of the passage in the water. Once you have gone through this
door, the passage closes up again. The king is being held prisoner in a cage: to
raise it, you must operate the lever. You follow the king to the cells where the
queen and a guard are being held prisoner. You free them, using the key to the
cells, then you leave the dungeon by the same exit as the king and his gang.
Fort4: In Hype’s room, you take the magic. Before going out, you encounter
Gogoud’s ghost. He tells you that you must return to the lost city. You leave
the
fortress by the well or over the rooftops.
Toras4: You must go to the sundial to travel to Epok3 in Brigand3.
Toras3: You leave Toras3 by the door to go into Brigand3. Go to the dolmen to
make this trip. You activate the buttons in the right combination and then put
out the torches. The gate lights up.
City4: You must go to the end of the City but you must also stop at the last
stage in your ascent to take the ice magic from the left-hand wall. When you
reach the room of colors, you must do the puzzle. The clue to complete this
puzzle is on the sign to the left of the door. After doing the puzzle, Big Foot
[Grand Pied] appears. You take Jewel4 and Big Foot tells you that you must
collect the 4 standards and fill up Jewel4. Go back the way you came in.
Brigand3: You must go to Toras3 in order to travel through time.
Toras3: You travel through time.
Toras4: You should get out in order to go to Brigand4.
Brigand4: You go and see Zatila who tells you to get onto his back to fill up
Jewel4. You go up to the Sky.
Sky4: Fill up the jewel and then come back down again.
Brigand4: Return to Toras to go and see Vibe in the inn.
Toras4: At the inn, you talk to Vibe and she gives you Standard4. Now you should
leave for the other Epoks to find the other standards. Go to the sundial and
leave for Epok1.
Toras1: Go into the inn to speak to Klouthier. He informs you that Standard1 is
in the fortress. You travel to the fortress via the well. In the well, you must
press the button to make the platform go down. You go along the length of piping
and appear in the Fort.
Fort1: Activate the 2 levers to make the drawbridge go down. Then enter the
fortress. Go up to the throne and take Standard1 from behind it. Now return to
Toras1 by the same route.
Toras1: Go to the sundial and leave for Toras2.
Toras2: Go to the inn and speak to the innkeeper. He tells you to go and see
the
brigands in Village2. Leave for Brigand2.
Brigand2: Go to the big hollow tree to press the button and make the elevator
come down. Go up to the village.
Village2: You speak to the brigands and they tell you to go and see Karon in her
hut. You go to her hut and she awaits you there. She says that you should go to
the Monastery to find Standard2. She gives you the key to the Monastery. You
leave for Brigand2 by the same route.
Brigand2: Go to the Monastery and use the key to open the door.
Monast2: In Monast2, enter the Monastery and take the first door on the right.
Go
to the door at the back of the room. Go down below and kill (well – hurt!) the 2
guards to make the statue move. You should then confront 2 wicked tapestries.
Enter the other room and go as far as you can. The standard is there. Retrace
the
same route, in reverse, to exit the Monastery, though there will be new baddies
to defeat. Back to Brigand2.
Brigand2: Return to Toras2 for a new journey through time.
Toras2: Travel through time to Epok3.
Toras3: Go to the inn to speak to Laffyth. He tells you that Standard3 is in the
Park of Brave Men. You can access the Park through the forest. Set off for
Brigand3.
Brigand3: In the first glade, where there is a large tree , you will find a
passage to the right. This is the access-point to the Park.
Casino3: Cross the gulf by jumping on the pillars and heading to the right. Go
as far as the room with the large balls. Burst the barrels to the left so as to
activate the lever which raises the pillar in the middle of the balls. Once you
have activated the lever, try to get to the center, while avoiding the balls,
before the pillar goes down again. Once you have taken Standard3, return to
Brigand3 by the same route.
Brigand3: Now that you have all the standards, you can set off for the Tower. Go
to Toras3 to travel through time.
Toras3: Time-travel to Epok4.
Toras4: You should now go and see Zatila so that he can take you to the Tower.
Brigand4: Go and see Zatila and ascend into the Sky.
Sky4: Destination: the black Tower. You should land on the hole in the cloud.
Tower4: There is a scene cut when you enter the Tower. After Zatila’s death
(Sob!
Sob!), take the magic and, if you wish, you can repair your shield on the
lefthand plate. Then enter the Tower.
If you climb up straight away, your passage will be blocked by a door. You
should
go back down below to give Enost a smack. You then avoid the ghosts, go down the
ladder, dodge the death’s-heads and skeletons, before going through the secret
entrance behind the rocks. Go down once more and enter the trompe-l’oeil passage
to reach the teleporters. The combination is the same as before, namely (if you
face the wall through which you arrived): left, top right, right. You now go
back
to Enost’s lab and confront him. Take the key in the rubble and activate the
button on the wall in the adjoining room. Now go back to the top of the Tower,
heading back towards the teleporters. Once you are on top of the Tower, use the
new key to open the metal grille.
You come to a room with 2 guards, a metal grille and a ladder. To do the grille
puzzle, climb the ladder and activate the lever at the top. Jump down and
operate
the new lever to exit. Back in the barrel-room, operate this lever: the grille
closes and you climb back up the ladder. You are now in a new, round room, with
a
single lever. Activate it.
The tray rises. When the tray has finished rising, you must go up the stairway
and kill all the enemies you encounter on your way to the top to make the middle
column rise. When you are on the last floor and the column is flashing, climb
onto it and it will begin rising. If it does not flash, this is because you have
not killed all the enemies.
TopTower: Scene cut with Barnak. You can save this afterwards. Now for the fight
against DragonGai. You should touch him on the head while he is laughing – that
is, once he has finished breathing fire. Watch out for his beating wings which
stir up a wind that can blow Hype down to the bottom of the of the Tower.
