This is an faq on leisrue suit larry's casino, which is not a real larry
adventure but more like
a branch out of the larry character, i beleive this is the most funnest gambling
game i have
played, and i have played alot. This points out the games, how to play them, and
tips. Oh and a
little something extra i found out while experimenting with a document, but more
on that later.
The only thing you should know is that this faq is under copy right protection
law 1998, Joey
Rowland. (o.k.), and as always a list of thank you's. I apologize if anything is
out of place or
missing. And in case you didn't know this is for just the off line gaming not
the
online so i
leave out all the online extras.

o.k. this is a little thing i was messing around with and to my suprize it
worked. Go into the
directory or folder where you installed leisure suit larry casino, the default
should be c:\sierr

ON WITH THE FAQ

{You being in your cheap hotel room, there are 4 things to do here}.
1.) Use the cyber larry 2000, it has no purpose whatsoever in the game, but it
adds the larry
charm to the game.
2.) Use the mirror, this is where you can choose the faces, such as happy and
excited faces.
3.) Cyber shop 2000, this is where you can pick the character of your choosing
there are 10,
unique and funny characters each come with 5000 chips, unless you change the
value in the Lcasino
.ini document. (as shown above)
4.) or you can exit your room and go to the casino map.
{As you are in your room or anywhere else in the game you can also right click
it
has a number of
usage}.
1.) You can see your name of the character you have chosen
2.) You can look at your casino map, more on that later
3.) You can look at your stuff, such as chips.
4.) You could go on-line
5.) You can get help
6.) or you can exit
{But for right now you want to right click and click casino map, there are many
places to go, off
line as there is on-line, but not as fun as on-line}
1.) There is a slot machine place with 3 different slot machines.
2.) There is a black jack table with many diffrent tournaments you can enter
3.) There are craps tables
4.) there are roullete wheels
5.) There is also a poker table with many tournaments
6.) and also there is a wheel of fortune game (have no idea how to play that try
to trick the
game by messing with the Lcasino.ini)
{I'll explain the rules on these games one at a time, but always remember press
F1.}
1.) SLOTS : they are pretty simple all you do is enter as many coins as you
wish,
from one to how
many you want, then turn the crank, if you are lucky to match the designs, or
get
the pattern
they choose for you, you win the amount they offer you for that matched pattern.
2.) BLACKJACK: o.k. black jack is a pretty simple game, another name for it is
21, you start out
with two cards, and you have to get 21 or under to win. But it differs depending
on how many
people are playing it. o.k. lets say i am playing against the dealer and a guy
named paul. I get
two cards and together they equal 18, i can either hit which means ask for
another card, I can
stand which means im done and waiting, I can surrender which means i give up, i
can double down
which means the wager i make can be doubled if the card thrown down does not go
over 21 or go
under my opponents number. And in some cases if I have two cards of the same
value such as two
eights, i can do what they call split them, which breaks the two cards in half
so
you can play
two more hands of black jack and double, triple and even quadrouple your
winnings. But if the
dealer has black jack you all lose, me and paul. But if the dealer throws down
two cards, one up
one over, and the one up is an ace, and the dealer asks if anyone wants
insurance, that is the
sure sign of a black jack so buy it so you wont lose your whole bet. The rules
aren't that hard,
just press F1 if you need more assistance.
3.) ROULLETE: in roullete you place your bets on any numbers you want and when
the one in charge
of the table turns the wheel and throws in the ball, you hope it lands on your
lucky number,if
it does all the money you bet and then some gets added on that number, its a
game
of luck
4.) POKER: There are so many rules in poker and so many diffrent ways to play
it,
it isn't even
funny, just press F1 for a low down on all the rules. (im sorry for this)
5.) CRAPS: Players stand around a large table (with walls to catch the dice),
where the shooter
rolls two matched dice. The table has a bet layout to show where bets should be
placed and what
odds are paid. All bets are placed against the house. The bets are placed on
different parts of
the layout (depending on the bet and roll). Players bet amongst themselves,
either with the
shooter (right betting) or against the shooter (wrong betting).
6.) WHEEL OF FORTUNE: I have no idea it really doesn't matter since it don't
work
anyways.
