Hint: Those pesky robots are usually being generated from a shiny cylinder.
Find these monster makers and blow 'em to shreds.
                               
Hint: Take the time in the early, peaceful arenas to become familiar with the
art of jumping and parachuting strategically as you fire on a target--many
times the only way to take out the baddies is to shoot continuously while
doing the juke, joint, jump.

Hint: Some arenas can be completed with a simple running jump/hang glide over
all the nasties. Be sure to check out each zone to see if the exit can be
accessed before you spend loads of health and ammo taking them out.

Hint: On the other hand, some exits can only be accessed by taking out every
baddie, ranging from one extremely tricky bugger to tons of annoying
mechanical twits.

Hint: Watch for the green meter in the upper left corner of the screen. Certain
buildings or objects must be destroyed to find power-ups and/or exits. The
best way to find out what blows up is to shoot it and see if you're given the
green bar.

Hint: At the end of a chapter, you lose your power-ups, so don't be stingy with
the explosives.

Hint: Blue lasers are a pain. Exterminating the source of these usually
requires toggling between your traditional view and the sniper helmet to land
a shot from a distance.
