On the rally's it's good to get a start over your opponent so try
and bump him off course, as there is often a NITRO on the first
corner and he'll do his best to make sure he gets it 1st !!
Plan ahead, make sure that when you repair your car that you save
yourself enough cash to allow you to carry on racing. When repairing
your car save yourself about $500 (on early races) and hope you pick
up enough bonuses to spend on the next race, if you don't qualify.
I found that its best to race in the dark/fog without lights as
this takes your mind of the beam your lights let off, and allow
you to concentrate on the course of the track... So don't waste
those few pounds on repairing them, unless you can really spare the
odd $ for each % of repair.....
Rally 3 Event 6 - There is a short cut you can take on this course,
it situated after the fourth corner after the ice. Upon approach to
the cones on your lower side, turn the car towards the thin stretch
of snow and cut off the long corner, saving you at least 15 secs.
Rally 5 Event 2 - You can descrease your time by cutting off the
long U bends.
Rally 8 Event 7 - This course looks identical to Rally 3 Event 6,
so use the same technique to take the short cut across the snow.
