//// V. Walkthrough \\\\\\
--------------------------------------------------------
Level 1
-------
This level is pretty easy, but hey, it's Level 1. Start out by getting
out of the lake. If you want, you can pick up the chainsaw (I've never
used mine, but you should still have it, just in case.) Equip your
pistil and head through the forest. You'll get to a clearing were a
swarm of enemies will attack you. Easily destroy them with your gun and
move on. Pick up the gun here, as it will help you soon to come. Go
forward to continue on the path, destroying the many enemies that come
your way. When you get to the end of the path, walk through the door.
Here, you will be in an area that separates where you just were and a
completely different area. This little spot will have a rifle right in
the middle. Pick it up and aim it at the big building. Shoot and easily
kill the big enemy. Soon about ten "Scythian Witch - Harpy's" will come
and attack you. Kill them with you rifle or with another weapon-your
choice. Then, go through the door to the next area. This area will have
a bunch of enemies. A lot of them will charge at you. You can pick up
the Serious Speed if you want to go faster. When you have killed all
the enemies, enter the temple.
This temple is pretty straight forward. All you have to do is walk
right through it. Make sure to pick up the flamethrower as it is very
useful. When you get to an area with a bunch of things going up and
down, BE SURE TO QUICK-SAVE. You will probably die a few times here. It
is pretty difficult and your timing has to be pretty good. However, it
is nothing you shouldn't be able to do. At the end, get ready to enter
another room.
The roof of this room keeps going up and down (two hits will kill
unless you wait forever to heal.) Go to the left and press A on the
symbol to push it in. Do the same on the other side to open the door.
Walk through the door. You should get outside. Follow the straight-
forward path to quickly get to the end. Congratulations! You beat Level
1!
