Version 1.4, Final Version (September, 1999)
Well, I thought that version 1.35 was the final one, but it
didn't. The stormtroopers level bothered me, I didn't added much
detail, so this is kind of "Rebel Assault FAQ Guide Final Version
Special Edition", now you find more detail of the level. Also,
corrected some words and spelling - I'm 14 and I'm Mexican, so I
have a small English vocabulary, but I'm damn good. Modified the
section five renaming it and modified the secrets - they're the
same, but modified.
Version 1.35 (July, 1999)
Now the FAQ is complete. I finished the last three levels text.
Finally, you have the entire FAQ. I couldn't publish it earlier
'cause I had some technical problems with the Internet config of
the computer, but it's finally finished. This is the final
version of this FAQ, but if the FAQ needs updating later, I'll
update it - it's the final version 'cause I typed everything I
know about this game.
Version 1.0 (June, 1999)
After finishing the game 3 times, I made this FAQ, but I delayed
it's publish 'cause I'm working in other five. I typed every
level but the last 3 (the Death Star levels). Check this web site
soon to see if I finished a newer version of this FAQ.

Ru Murleen is the youngest commander in the Alliance, she flies an
X-Wing just like Rookie One, and she is the one that finishes
Rookie's training. She's a good pilot.

Empire's politics changed. He trained the best Imperial Navy
pilots, and now, he joined the Rebellion to prepare new good and
younger pilots to defeat the Empire.
LIEUTENANT TURLAND HACK
Hack, as everyone calls him, is a friend of Rookie One. He

pass the trainings.

Death Star helps to crush the Rebellion.
===========
4) MISSIONS
===========
STAGE 1 - FLIGHT TRAINING
Location:
Tatooine
Objective:
Finish the run through Beggar's Canyon and destroy all the
targets you can
This stage is fairly simple, just follow the path and try not to
crash; this can be difficult for begginers, but be patient. For
more experienced, I recommend taking the right path (hard path)
to make more points. In the second part, you just need to destroy
about 6 targets of those to finish the entire level, and try not
to pursue them.
STAGE 2 - ASTEROID FIELD TRAINING
Location:
Asteroid field
Objective:
Make your way to the end of the asteroid field
Here, the training will be a little more difficult. You must
avoid the rocky asteroids, but shoot the ice asteroids. Once you
practice this level some times, it will be easy.
STAGE 3 - PLANET KOLAADOR
Location:
Kolaador
Objective:
Finish the run
This is a very difficult stage, it's a pain in the butt! To
success, you must place yourself ALWAYS behind Ru Murleen (the
other A-wing that is in front of you). Like that, you'll finish
the stage alive, and sometimes without a scratch!
STAGE 4 - STAR DESTROYER ATTACK
Location:
Star Destroyer near a Rebel base
Objective:
Destroy the Star Destroyer
This stage is not too difficult. The only thing you must do is
destroy the shield generators on top of the ship and then, fire
your torpedo to the bridge.
STAGE 5 - TATOOINE ATTACK
Location:
Tatooine
Objective:
Destroy the 3 TIEs and destroy every bonus target you can
This stage has two sublevels. In the first sublevel, you must
destroy the 3 TIEs before they escape, and if you start pressing
the fire button before entering the mission and after you start,
you can destroy the TIEs in less than a second!
In the other sublevel, you won't have any enemies trying to
destroy you, you'll try target practice. Destroy everything you
can to have more points.
STAGE 6 - ASTEROID FIELD ATTACK
Location:
Asteroid field
Objective:
Destroy the TIEs and make your way to the end of the asteroid
field
If you thought that Planet Kolaador was a pain in the butt, wait
until you see this level - it's a nightmare! You must avoid the
rocky asteroids and destroy the ice ones and pursue TIEs that
will fire at you, but the hard thing is going through the "donut"
shaped asteroid - to the center!
STAGE 7 - IMPERIAL PROBE DROIDS
Location:
Hoth
Objective:
Find the way out of the cavern
This level is difficult. You don't have to destroy every probe
- that would be damn hard -. What you have to do is to find the
exit, but it's difficult because if you take the wrong path when
you select your path, you'll restart again. The order is: LEFT,
LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT. If you follow that order, you'll escape.
STAGE 8 - IMPERIAL WALKERS
Location:
Hoth
Objective:
Destroy the AT-AT walker
You'll have to destroy an AT-AT by shooting at his armor panels.
But beware, if you crash with the AT-AT, you'll have almost 70%
damage!
STAGE 9 - STORMTROOPERS
Location:
Hoth
Objective:
Destroy every Stormtrooper and find your X-wing
Here you'll be on foot. Destroy every troop you find quickly, so
he can't damage you too much. You must take always the right path
so the Imperial troops can't capture you.
STAGE 10 - PROTECT REBEL TRANSPORT
Location:
En route to Yavin IV
Objective:
Protect the Rebel transports
In this mission, you'll have to destroy every wave of TIE
fighters that threatens the transports. It's difficult, but you
can do it, "Use the Force" to finish this one.
STAGE 11 - YAVIN TRAINING
Location:
Yavin's fourth moon (Yavin IV)
Objective:
Finish the run
This level is fairly simple, destroy all little targets you can
while evading the walls of this river, but don't crash too much
or you'll be destroyed.
STAGE 12 - TIE ATTACK
Location:
En route to the Death Star
Objective:
Get to the Death Star
This stage consists in approaching to the Death Star destroying
every TIE fighter that you see. This level is more difficult,
but it can be done. When three TIEs are trying to get to your
leader, destroy them, or you'll have to repeat the level if they
kill him.
STAGE 13 - DEATH STAR SURFACE
Location:
Death Star
Objective:
Destroy all turbolasers you can
Here, you'll have to destroy the turbolasers in the surface of
the Death Star. Try evading shots of those turrets, they're too
painful for your X-Wing.
STAGE 14 - SURFACE CANNON
Location:
Death Star
Objective:
Destroy the cannon
In this level you try to destroy the Death Star's surface cannon
that threatens the mission. First, destroy the blue shields below
the cannon, destroying also the TIEs that are trying to get a
piece of you. Later, when you destroy the shields, you'll get
inside the shields to destroy the multiple reactors (those green
rectangles) and destroy the cannon; try to finish it quick, 'cause
every time you do one pass, you'll get out and you'll find TIEs.
STAGE 15 - DEATH STAR TRENCH
Location:
Death Star
Objective:
Destroy the Death Star
Finally, the last level of the game, it's difficult, but you can
conquer it. First, you'll make your run in the trench, destroying
every turret that threatens you. When your leader fails his run by
not destroying the Death Star and Farrell rescues you, you'll make
the final run; avoid the walls and destroy the shields (all five)
to continue without a scratch, and when your crosshairs change to
green and get triangle forms, you'll have to find the exhaust port
to fire the torpedoes on it - it's kind of a hole in the floor -
and you'll blow up the Death Star.
