The Colonel's Bequest
- A Laura Bow Mystery -
First of all you have to know all the secret passages in the house.
In the back upstairs hallway are two cabinets "PULL CABINET" to open them.
Now walk up to the paintings and "LOOK EYES" facing the room you want to look
into. Now you can hear the people speaking and another quarter will pass.
In the back downstairs hallway are a mirror and a clock which you can also
"PULL MIRROR/CLOCK".So to solve TCB just make sure to stare into the
following rooms at the following persons at the following times.Of course
enter the room if you can't watch the scene through a painting.
You don't have to do the thing's in the exact order but you should
perform them in that act!

Examine everything you find with the monocle
Ask everyone about everyone and everything
Show Everything to everybody
* You should also perform the following things BEFORE act VII
Get oilcan on table in warehouse
Get crowbar in carriage in warehouse
Oil helmet of armor in front downstairs hallway and open it
Get Cane in one of secret passages (You'll find it anyway before act VII)
Get bone from fridge in kitchen
Give bone to dog and take necklace from his doghouse
When you go to Celie's house in act VI give her the necklace and take the
carrot from the table in her cabin
Give carrot to Blaze (the horse) and open the gate and take the lantern
Open the ground in the church with the crowbar and take the bible
Ring the bell next to the church with the cane and take the clank
This is very very tricky; "RING BELL WITH CANE" and make sure you won't
be hit by the falling bell; just save and try
* And now for the cliMAX :
Go to the fountain where Lillian lies dead (ACT VIII) and "GET DERRINGER"
"GET BULLET" "SEARCH BODY" "LOOK SOLE" and stand in front of the statue
"INSERT SHAFT" "TURN SHAFT" now walk around the fountain to the back of
the statue and "TURN STATUE".
Walk around
the fountain again and "LIGHT LANTERN" and enter the secret passage!
There are all the body's; somebody (Lillian) pushed them trough the laundry
chute.Now "INSERT CLANK" "TURN CLANK" and open all the tombs with your
crowbar, in one of them is a pouch of diamonds.Now walk back and go up to
the attic.
Open the attic door with the skeleton key and you'll see Henri and Rudy
trying to kill eachother with one of Wilbur's hyperdermic needles.
You can solve TCB in two ways "SHOOT RUDY" (correct one) or "SHOOT HENRI"
Choose the first and your SLEUTH-O-METER will be better and you (most
important) will understand the story.
* Epilogue :
The colonel is in a better shape then everybody thought and invited
all the guests to get to know them better, therefor he spied on them
through the paintings, but he didn't see one murder.Lillian had always
seen the colonel as her Daddy since her own dad committed suicide.But
as you all know (ACT V - LILLIAN & HENRI) Henri didn't want to be her
daddy anymore, so she began killiang everyone who she thought stood
between her and the colonel.The last one she'd wanted to kill was
Rudy, but Rudy killed her in self-defense and thought to himself :
"If I kill the colonel I'll get al his money", so he went to the
attic and tried to kill Henri but You, Laura Bow, prevented him from
such a terrible deed by shooting him. Celie gets all the money, you
can keep the diamonds you found in the Crouton Tomb and Rudy is arrested
