Table of Contence:
I. Story and Character Info II. Weapons III. Advanced Attacks IV. Tactics and Combos V. Vs. VI. Ending
One little note, I'm not putting in the controls because you should already know them.
There are a total of seven weapons (Napalm, 3 types of Missles, Remote Mine, Lighning, Ricochet) and your machine gun. Each one does a different amount of damage and has different perposes in the game. There are also Specials (your's is the Ghost Missle) and special attacks (i.e. Ice Missle, Minion's attack, etc...) which require special attack energy (a different section).
The damage shown was done on a level 3 armored car. If you are going against a car that has more/less armor then is will do less/more damage.
Machine Gun
Damage: 1 1/4 Homing: No Amount per pick-up: None Special Notes: Unlimited ammo, short range, also shoots out of Minion's back
Even though this weapon does the least amount of damage it is great in combos and can do more damage once a code is put in.
Fire Missile
Damage: 10 Homing: Slight Amount per pick-up: 2 Special Notes: None
Only use this attack when your opponent is either coming at you, in a battle with someone else, or when they are frozen because they will most likely dodge the incoming missile. If you miss with one of these missile don't worry because there are lots of them on a battle field.
Homing Missile:
Damage: 11 Homing: Yes Amount per pick-up: 2 Special Notes: None
This is a great missile. It will always hit its target unless it hits something else first or its opponent has a shield up. The damage isn't very good but you can hit your opponent from the opposite side of the field with ease.
Power Missle:
Damage: 18 Homing: No Amount per pick-up: 2 Special Notes: Shoots in a straight line and is hard to find.
This is the most powerful missile. The only time you should use it is when your opponent is frozen, your are raming into your opponent, or your opponent is either Dark Tooth or Hammerhead (because they are slow and can't dodge) or else you might miss and waste a good missile.
Ricochet:
Damage: 10+ (increases during time) Homing: No Amount per pick-up: 2 Special Notes: Will bounce off of anything that isn't a car or something that you can blow up.
Your opponent will start to roll (or just get shoot back) when they get hit with this attack (a great set-up for a missile or your special). The only problem with this attack (besides that is can't home in) is that the damage is pretty back and if you are going too fast when you use this attack you will run into it. I like to use this weapon when I'm on the roof tops in Paris or whenever I'm above the other cars because this weapon will just drop down and start to bounce around, making it very hard to dodge. For some real fun go to Moscow and blow up the ramps then put in God Mode and just keep shooting these. After a while it will be a mad house and you can test your luck/skill by driving down to the teleporter or back up while trying not to get hit.
Napalm:
Damage: 20+ (up to 40 if they burn) Homing: Slight Amount per pick-up: 2 Special Notes: Limited range but great damage.
This attack can hit opponent above or below you (great for getting opponent out from ditches and for knocking them out of the air(i.e. Grasshopper)). The damage is great, even if they do put out the fire. It is hard to hit your opponent with this attack mainly because the will dodge or they are out of range. See tactics to see how to solve this problem.
Remote Mine:
Damage: 25- (decreases with distance) Homing: No Amount per pick-up: 1 Special Notes: Will detonate if your opponent runs into it or once you press X (defualt button setting).
This is the most powerful weapon in the game (second if your opponent can't put the fire out from the Napalm). This weapon is great for traps and as a rear attack (opponent is chasing you and you drop this weapon behind you). If you can't get any of those to work then just freeze them then hit them with this sucker. See tactics for areas where you should use this attack.
Lighning:
Damage: 9 per blast (usually two blasts) Homing: Yes Amount per pick-up: 2 Special Notes: Will come out of a generator (in L.A., Moscow, and Hong Kong)
This attack doesn't do a lot of damage but is great for annoying opponents and for throwing them off cource (giving you time to either attack or retreat if low on health/weapons). You can't really use this in combos unless you freeze them then hit them with this attack and possibly others.
Like Minion's special, your missiles will turn into fireballs after a certain amount of time. This increases the damage and looks pretty cool. For major damage, ram your opponent then fire you special. Becuase of your speed you may want to freeze them first, but if you catch your opponent by suprise you should freeze them after they have been hit with the Missiles. If you are going against a human opponent try to fire your special will being close to them, because if you shoot it at them from far away they will hear them coming and will put their shield on. The CPU doesn't do this, luckly.
III. Advanced Attacks
Every character has these attacks. They are done by a special button sequence. Each attack takes away some of your advanced attack energy from the special attack energy bar located above your weapon picture. These attacks are your key to success so learn them well.
Just incase you are wondering, you have a total of 94 advanced attack energy points.
Ice Missle (L,R,U):
Damage: 9 Homing: Yes Amount of Energy required: 38 Special Notes: Great if you run out of specials.
As the name says, this missile freezes your opponent. It is a rather slow weapon so use it wisely. This is the attack that usually starts combos for every character besides you (you have your special to do that for you).
Napalm (R,L,U):
Damage: 17+ (up to 45 if they don't put the fire out) Homing: No Amount of Energy required: 38 Special Notes: Limited range, but great damage.
Shield (U,U,R):
Damage: None * Homing: No Amount of Energy required: 38 Special Notes: You can't take any damage while this is up but you will still fly around if you get hit with something (and you can still died by falling off cliffs and ledges)
Use this weapon to stop incoming missiles and other weapons of war. Even though you don't take a lot of damage from attacks anyway, you can still be frozen and can still get a huge chunck of your life taken way from you if you get hit with some weapons. This is why you can always do this advanced attack. The shield can do a little damage to your opponents if you run into them, but that doesn't really matter because you already do a lot of damage by ramming them.
*Does a little bit if you ram them.
Jump (U,U,L):
Damage: None * Homing: No Amount of Energy required: 12 Special Notes: Minion jumps, but not very high.
Because you are so big you can't jump over missile, but you can still land on cars. I really haven't found a perpose for this advanced attack for Minion, but for smaller cars that jump higher this is a great attack.
*It can do damage if you land on a car.
Mine (R,L,D):
Damage: 13 Homing: No Amount of Energy required: 30 Special Notes: Only lasts a couple seconds.
The damage isn't as good as the remote mine, but it doesn't take up a lot of advanced attack energy. The only time you should use this attack is when you are (for some reason) being chased by another car. Sure you could drop a remote mine or hit them with a Rear Attack, but that would be too easy. If you feel like being mean then try to set up a trap with these (which is very hard to do). If you want to knock one then loof in the Tactics section.
Rear Attack (L,R,D):
Damage: Depending on weapon used Homing: Yes/No/Slight (depending on weapon used) Amount of Energy required: None Special Notes: None
This is one of the best advanced attacks (if you want to call it one because it doesn't use any advanced attack energy). If you are being chased then shoot them with with your special, homing missile, or a remote mine (the best one). The possibilities for this advanced attacks are almost unlimited.
Rear Ice Missle (L,R,U,L,R,D):
Damage: 9 Homing: Yes Amount of Energy required: 38 Special Notes: Can not have any weapon selected to do this.
This is great. You can freeze the opponent behind you while you go and collect weapons or items. You can not have any weapon selected to do this. If you want to do this advanced attack when you have weapons then just use all of one weapon (try to keep only one Fire Missile). You will then have a blank space will appear where you weapon should be. Now you can shoot this attack.
Minion's Special (U,D,U,U, Machine Gun):
Damage: 65 Homing: Yes Amount of Energy required: 84 Special Notes: Great damage, but takes up a lot of advanced attack energy.
This is a great attack for starting a combo and for dealing out lots of damage. Unfortunatly it almost takes up all of your advanced attack energy. You should only do this if you are out of specials, have only one/two enemies left (or you are playing against a friend), and you know that you won't miss.
IV. Tactics
This section will talk about each level and general tactics. If you want more information on how to beat each character in each different level then please read the Vs. section on that character.
For each city I will list in order the name of the city, where the healths are located (full healths and other healths). After that there will be "What can you demolish?" and finally some tactics and stratagies for that city.
L.A.
Full Health:
In the cage.
Other Health:
Along side the fire pit. By a demolished building. Between the cage and the tunnels. Above the three small hills.
What can you demolish?
The four legs lightning conductors. The bridge to the full health. The three fountains. The two ice-cream shops. Glass in the tunnels. The Hollywood sign.
Tactics: Try to stay out in the open. It is a lot easier to kill enemies this way because they usually come at you one at a time. Just special and combo. I don't usually use or pick up lightning because I does little damage and most of the time enemies don't come close to the conductor. If you are running low on ammo you can go and blow a conductor "leg" up. Once you do a weapon will pop up under the overhead power conductor (in other words, you blow a leg up you get a weapon). If you drive around on the road you will usually find a couple opponents that are too chicken to come fight you face to face (i.e. Spectre and some others). Don't drive to fast because you will start to run into the fence and will become a sitting target for opponents. Some opponents like to hide on the tunnel. An easy way to flush them out is to shoot a couple Ricos into it then charge in and blow them away with you specials. Don't fight around the fire pit because you may catch on fight because of your size. Even though it might not do a lot of damage you may find yourself short on turbo. Talking about turbo, there is a lot of it in this level. Leave only one opponent then run around and pick up the turbo on the highway and some Remote Mine (ontop of the tunnel and in a box close to the cage).
Moscow - Suicide Slide
Other Health:
At the top of the slide. One the item pad. Where all the bridges meet.
What can you demolish?
The lighning conductor. The four bridges. Some of the signs.
Tactics: If you choose to blow up the bridges rather then fighting on the bottom would be the best because you would have more room and it is easy to retreat to the top. Once up there shoot down a couple Ricos for some fun. Also when you are on the top you can easily pick off enemies fighting on the bottom with you special and Homing Missiles. If you don't blow up the bridges then just drive around the top ramming everyone you see (and don't forget to freeze/special them first). This is also great place to pick up Homing Missiles, there are lots of them on the bridges. There are not a lot of enemies in this level but it is still hard because they usually double or even triple team you. If they do this then hope Thumper isn't one of them and just ram and special them all to death. After you destroy one then they usually will run off. The other thing that makes this level so hard is that there are only three healths (and no full healths). If you blow the bridges up then there are only two. And one of those two are always there, unless you pick it up. The other only appears at the start of the match.
Paris - Monumetal Disaster
Other Health:
In the Louvre. Above the left founain. Ontop of the first building that you can reach when the Tower falls. Ontop of the building to the right when you are on the second floor of the Louvre.
What can you demolish?
The Eiffel Tower. The tour buses. Cars. Trees. The paintings in the Louvre.
Tactics: The best thing to do is not to blow up the Eiffel Tower because the enemies will just cluster up there and it is hard to get to them without taking major damage. There are a few ambush points in this level. This best is the second floor of the Louvre. Once you teleport up there you can either turbo onto the roof to you right and collect weapons and health or you can sit back and wait for someone to teleport up there. Once they do, freeze them then ram them off of the building. This is a good tactic unless your opponent is either Axel or Twister, because as soon as they teleport up they will special you. Another ambush point would be inside of the Eiffel Tower. Once your opponent teleports up there just special and try to knock them off. Most opponents will just teleport up there then drive off. After you hit them with your special or a couple missiles they will teleport up then attack you. By this time they won't have a lot of life left, but they can still pose a threat. Another thing that you shouldn't do is to chase small cars around the city and in small allies because they can always out maneuver you while shooting missiles out of there back (as well as dropping Mines or Remote Mines). You should fight under the Eiffel Tower or on the second floor of the Louvre. These places have an open space where you can shoot opponents below or right infront of you.
Amazonia - Amizonia Firewalk
Full Health:
In the underground tunnel.
Other Health:
In the left passage in the non-teleporter temple. In the middle of the bridge that crosses the center lava lake. On the island.
What can you demolish?
The two statues. The door to the teleporter. The two openings on the temple.
Tactics: If you want to go against one opponent at a time then go to the temple with the teleporter in it and wage war outside of it. One by one they will come to you. Just special and combo them to death. If you want to try to ambush your opponent then go behind then temple and rush them with a flurry of missiles. If they start to crowd you then just go into the temple and teleport onto the island. Then when they teleport to it just special them, but some of them are not that smart and they will drive across the lava, causing damage to themselves. Once you see them coming just sit back and fire off a couple missiles and/or specials. This will make short work out of them. Of cource there are the age old tricks like hiding in the tunnel and either busting out at an opponent or placing a remote mine at the entrence or the tunnel and blowing them away once they enter. I myself like to stop on the bridge and wait for enemies to follow me, then I ram them off and run for my life. You may/may not like this tactic, but it does work, sometimes. If you ever get hit bay a Napalm then their is a little pond on one side of the bridge, but it is usually too far away to do you any good. If you are running low on life/weapons then go to the temple without the teleporter and blow up the two doors (the oddly colored sections if the wall facing the bridge). In the right one there is a health and some other weapons, in the left there are only a weapon.
New York - The Big Leap
Full Health:
At the bottom of the elevator saft.
Other Health:
In the swimming pool. Ontop of the roof with the fashion billboard.
What can you demolish?
The Statue of Liberty. All the green glass. The cooler on the black topped building. The fashion billboard. The elevator door.
Tactics: This is a dangerous level for Warthog because he can easily fall off of the buildings, but you can always knock opponents off. If you stay on open rooftops (i.e. the building with the cooler on the top) then enemies will come to you. When they do just blow them away with specials and other weapons. From any of these rooftops you can ram/jump to another. Just make sure that you ahve enough speed to make each jump. If you are on the lower level of the building with the fashion magazine then you will usually get knocked off because opponents like Axel and Mr. Slam will knock/throw you off. It is also dangerous because there isn't a lot of space for you to move around in. If you do get stuck down there then just freeze everyone and get onto one of the two teleporters. If you are on the brownish roof that is connected to the building with green glass and has two stories then prepare for a battle because there are usually atleast two opponents there ready to kill you. If you need to escape then either get onto the top of the building or go to the green glass building and make you escape. If you find yourself on the two story grayish building then get to the top or another building because I usually get knocked off or get hurt badly because you are an open target there (you can get hit from the brownish building and even the top of the green glass building. I personly don't like that building for reasons already stated.
Antarctica - The Drop Zone
Other Health:
Ontop of the ramp (the BIG one). Ontop of the ice bridge on the only piece of ice that doesn't fall. On the ramp in the ravine one the opposite side from the next health. In the square ice structure. One the ice island that you can teleport to.
What can you demolish?
All the towers. Each chunk of ice.
Tactics: This can be a difficult level because the level is always shrinking. If you want to be daring then fight on the pieces of ice that are about to fall. Once another enemy comes onto the ice just freeze them and get off! This is very risky, but worth it if you survive. If you feel like ambushing your opponent then teleport to the ice island and wait for for your opponents to follow. Once they pop up then wait for them to get close to the edge and then rico them. If they don't fall off then just special/freeze and ram them off. Some opponents will try to jump from the mainland to the island. This is instant suicide, so don't try it (I did, once). If you just layback and let your opponents fight each other then they will usually fall off, or if you fall off then some will follow you. You can also ambush your opponents from above if you get on the ice bridge and wait. If they don't come up after you then you can jump off and land on them causing massive damage if done right. If you can't do that then just stay ontop and wait for opponents to follow you up. As soon as you see one let missiles fly. Or if you want to be sneeker then put a remote mine ontop of the ram leading up and a couple or regular mines. As soon as they reach the top, wham! they loose half of their life, if not all of it. You can also rain Napalms down on your opponents if that feels fit. You can do the same thing on the big ramp with the health at the top, but it isn't as good. Becareful, Spectre's Ghost Missiles can still hit you, where ever you are (make sure to kill him first, before he messes up your plans).
Holland - Field of Screams
Full Health:
In the windmill with the short grass.
Other Health:
Next to the other windmill. In the bail of hay by the fence across from that windmill. Across from the short grass windmill. In another bail of hay somewhere.
What can you demolish?
The two windmills. Bails of hay.
Tactics: This is the best level in the game. There is lots of space for you to drive freely. Unfortunatly you are being attacked by nine other opponents in this level. You can always be sure that your specials will hit someone if you fire them into crowds. You can also freeze everyone in a crowd and then run through, drop a Remote Mine, and fire off Homing Missiles while you make your get away. Once you have knocked off some people then it may be time for a health recarge. There are healths everywhere in this level, and the full health is in the windmill with the short grass. If that windmill hasn't been blown up by know it should be the place to go. If your opponents are too much for you then blow up the windmill with the short grass (after you have collected the full health). Once in there you can pick up a remote mine and will be protected from enemy attacks until they figure out that they can still hit you from where the door used to be. So just turn around and fend for yourself until you have run out of ammo. Once you do then make a run for it and collect as many weapons as you can.
Hong Kong - Hong Kong Krunch
Full Health:
In the building with the teleporter.
Other Health:
In the subway. On a dead-end by the dock. On the other dead end opposite of the one above. By the car by the dock. Straight out of the building by the docks.
What can you demolish?
The cars. The subway cars.
Tactics: This level isn't all that good because Warthog can not turn very well. Sure he can still drive down the road as fast as anyone, but you usually run into things along the way (including opponents). The best thing to do in this level is to just attack one opponent at a time (or two if things are tough). Try to stay at one end of the battle field and your opponents at the other. That way once they start to come after you you can shoot off all five of you specials and some Homing Missiles before they can even react. You can ambush your opponents by waiting on the tunnel bridges. This is a great place to be because you can hit opponents as they drive by. Beware that you can not hit opponents that are under you, but they can still hit you with a Remote Mine while they are under you. You can also get hit by opponents how are in the tunnels and by Ricos that they shoot into them. One thing that you should not do is to get yourself stuck in a dead end with one or more enemies attacking you. That is an easy way to get yourself killed. Another thing is to go into the building. When you are in there you can hit opponents with lightning, but you can also get hit by it. The only real safe place is on the second floor. This is where you can pick up weapons, shoot lightning and not get hit, plus you can drop Ricos down and blow away other opponents. Unfortunatly you can still get hit and opponents will go up and attack you.
V. Vs.
This section is should help you on how to beat computer/human opponents. If you want information on each city then please read the tactics section.
Computer: The computer alway has specials ready for you (even though you can only have up to five at a time, he has atleast seven). Just stay away from him and pummel him with specials and any other weapon that you have.
Human: If they are smart they will stay away or try to lurer you to edge of a cliff then try to knock you off (if you are in New York or Antarctica). This can be a dangerous fight if he gets too close to you and starts to special you like a maniac. If he starts to come close then freeze and get away. If you try to ram then he will deflect you with his special.
Computer: Always has specials when she attacks. When she does this then just Napalm her out of the air. This will do great damage and it is very hard to miss her when she is right infront of your face. Just be careful that you don't catch on fire when she rams into (she on fire because you just nailed her with a Napalm).
Human: They may try to ambush you with her special from you back or side. If they do hit you with it then just turn and ram her (make sure you sharp turn). If she is smart and freezes you before you can do this then be sure to put on you sheild before she hits you. She will bounce off and then you can combo her with you special to just about any other attack.
Computer: Whenever you see him then you should put up your shield because he will be coming at you with freeze missiles. If he does freeze you then he'll hit you with his special. Since Hammerhead is huge he will usually be out in the open. Even when he is in the open he can't dodge your special (or other attacks for that matter) because he is too slow and can't turn (like you). So once you see him then let him have it. He should be one of the first people to go. The only other problem for you is that he has a lot of armor and always has power missiles. So it may be a little while before he goes down.
Human: If he gets himself stuck in narrow/small spaces then please be sure to combo him. Another easy fight.
Computer: This guy loves to freeze you. If he ever gets a chance he'll keep you frozen while he pummels you with more freeze blasts while hitting you with this machine gun, special, and fire missiles. If it wasn't for your armor this should kill you, therefor always put up your shield before attacking him. If you manage to freeze/special him then just ram and freeze him again. If you can do that he should only last a few seconds.
Human: This should be a very easy fight. If you ever see him then just keep shooting specials until he is done for. If that doesn't kill him then nothing will.
Mr. Slam:
Handling: Sluggish Armor: **** Special: ***** - Each slam is 30, 15 on you. Recharge Time: 55 secs Speed: * - 91 top, 138 turbo
Computer: Just like Hammerhead this guy will try to freeze you then special you. His special is very dangerous because it not only does great damage, it can also throw you off cliffs, so stay away from them. Just like Hammerhead he also has a lot of armor and can take almost everything you shoot at him. So even if you are shooting missiles like crazy he will still shoot an ice blast at you.
Human: Yet another easy fight (yes there will be harder fights down the road), just make sure he doesn't freeze you.
Computer: One of the hardest fights (told you there would be a tough one) for you. She will usually be the last one to go. After you have defeated everone she will have to go and find her. Once you do she will nail you with her special then run off as fast as she can. Once she grabs you in her special then drop a Remote Mine then detonate it after you put your shield on. This will make the computer rethink it's stratagie and your sanity. If the computer desides to go kamikaze then just special her a couple times.
Human: Since this car is small (and you can't turn) it can ambush you with easy (when you are in Paris or Hong Kong). She will probably freeze you then special and finally run off like a chicken. If you want a fighting chance then make sure you know where she is (radar) and put up your shield when she get close then run away once all off your advanced attack energy runs out.
Computer: This can be a tough fight if he comes out with three freeze blasts. Once/if he does that then you will probably die because he won't let up for another couple of vollies of freezes, specials, and just about any other thing that he has. Once he stops then special him a couple times or combo. If he doesn't come out with a couple freezes then just ram him then shoot him with a power missile. Also beware of his special. It does a lot of damage on the way back.
Human: If you opponent is good/cheap then he/she will freeze you then will get right up to you and shoot his special attack a slight angle while freezeing you again. Therefor the boomerangs will come back and kill you (if timed right it should kill you). Besides that then it should be an easy fight.
Computer: This guy doesn't do a lot besides shooting it's special every couple of minutes. If you want this to stop the be sure to get close to him. Since his special will damage him if he is too close. Once you are close you should ram and/or special and/or combo. Other then that it should be an easy fight.
Human: When played by a human the fight becomes more dangerous because Shadow gets continues remote mine (er... his special). If you let him get the chance then he will/can freeze then special you until he/she either runs out advanced attack energy or specials.
Computer: Spectre is the fastest car in the game (he beat Twister by 1 mph). He will prove this by running around the track like a chicken with it's head cut off. Even though he doesn't frreze very often he will always use this special to keep you away from him. Very rarely does he ever want to fight out in the open. To beat him you will have to charge after him and trap him into a dead end. If there is not a dead end around then just stay away from him and shooting Homing Missiles or your special at him. After a while he will go down.
Human: This can be a very easy/hard fight depending on where you are. If you are in Paris then this is going to be and extremely hard fight. If you are in Holland then it should only last a few seconds. Since his special will go through buildings he will stay on roof tops or on the other side of a building or object that can not be blown up. When he comes down or runs off to another hiding place you should chance him and shoot your specials at him. If you are in Paris then you shouldn't chase him because you won't be able to go down all the allies and still put up a fight. Instead try to cut him off at intersections.
Computer: Sweet Tooth is another law breaker. He can shoot out seven specials in a row (I've seen it). But those special don't do a lot of damage and can only slightly home in on opponents. The best thing to do is to just ram him. Sweet Tooth rolls excessively. You should use that to your advantage. Do this by ramming him on the side and keep the turbo button held down until his is done for.
Human: This is an easier fight because Sweet Tooth can not shoot out seven specials in a row. Use the same tactics as above for an easy win.
Computer: The computer will only use two attacks. They are his Ultimate Flamethrower and his Napalm. Each can do massive damage if you don't put out the flames. This will be an easy fight if you just stay away and keep hitting him with your special. If he does get close to you then be sure to get away as soon as you can. If you do get caught in the Flamethrower then be sure to either turbo away or to put up your shield. Beware, his Flamethrower can go through some walls.
Human: More likely then not you he will charge at you and won't let up until you are eating flames. You can take this to your advantage. Once he get up close then either freeze or special him then combo. If you are going against someone who knows what they are doing they will try to freeze you first then blow flames in you face. This is a deadly tactic. If they know how to freeze then stay away from them and pummel them with specials from a distance.
Computer: She will always have her special on unless you catch her by surprise. If you are lucky enough to do this then freeze her they pummel her with missiles while you back away. You do not want to freeze then ram because she will break out of the ice and hit you with her special. Once she is doing her special she can't dodge very well, so let everything fly.
Human: Whatever you do against a human, don't get stuck in a ally with her. She can chain all of her special together to form a tornado of death. You can always stop her from doing this by droping a Remote Mine and blow both of you away. It will do much more damage to her then to you. Once you get her down on life (using this method or any other that you can think of) gaurd to extra life icons. Whenever you see her, blow her away with you special. Sure you can do this to anyone, but I felt like putting it here.
~Bosses~
Minion: The easiest way to beat him is to just stay away and shoot your specials at him. Then once you run out of special then hit him with Homing Missiles and Fire Missiles. If he get close to you then just freeze and turbo for cover. If he gets you low on life then go into the tunnel and pick up the full health. If you are playing on the to easier difficulty levels then he won't come down and you can fire Napalms and Ricos up at him. You can stay down there forever, but it is funnier if you take him on head-to-head. Only do this if you have full health and he is low on health (you should know that by know). Minion is pretty easy to beat if you follow these tactics. If you don't then you can be in for a hard fight. If you are going against him in two player mode then I wish you luck (because there is almost no possible way to beat him as Warthog because you are too slow, can't turn, and you special doesn't freeze or recharge fast enough).
Darktooth (stage 1): There are may ways to beat Darktooth. The easiest way is to just pummel him with your specials whenever you see him. If you run out of specials then just shoot Power Missiles instead. The best away to attack him is to ambush him or hit him from behind. It is hard to hit him from behind because he is usually chasing you, but if you out run him and get him stuck in an ally then you should be able to get one or two shots off before he can return fire. The other way is to let him come to you. Once he rounds a corner then let everyting fly (while backing up). Once he starts to shoot at you you should be on another road getting ready to do the same thing again. If you run out of weapons the use your turbo and get as far away from him as you can, then pick up weapon and go back. When he only has a little bit of life left then he may wait for you to come to him. One of his best ambush points is ontop of tunnel bridge. Once he stayed up there and it took a little while to kill him. If he does this then rush him and try to get under the bridge. Once you are under he will not be able to hit you (unless he gets down, then you can finish him off with you specials), so put up you shield and drop a remote mine and detonate it before you shield runs out. There are two things that you should not do. This first is to get into the tunnel and try to ambush him when he comes after you. This may/may not work. If he knows that its an ambush then he won't come up. What he will do is do to another tunnel entrance and shoot Ricos into it (he has an infinite amount also, believe me). If he does come in then you will have to get out of there because he will charge at you and fire everything that he has. The other thing that you shouldn't do is to go into the building with the lightning conductor (or the only building that you can go into to). If you go in there he will come in and blow you away (there isn't anywhere you can hide). If you really need the full life then you can go in, but get out fast or else you won't need the full life anymore.
Darktooth (stage 2): This is an easy fight. Just let him come to you and blow him away with you specials and anyother weapons that you have left over. This should only take a few seconds to complete.
VI. Ending
Warthog's ending:
Warthog asks Calypso to give him the body of a 20 year old. And Calypso does that, but doesn't give him the head of a 20 year old. So now Warthog is going to have to win the tournement again to get a new head.
