Bonus characters
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the
file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "user.ini" file in the
"system" folder. Find the "TotalUnlockedCharacters=" line and change it to read:

TotalUnlockedCharacters=Malcolm;ClanLord;Xan

Bonus characters (another method)
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the
file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit "xplayers1.upl" and
"xplayers2.upl" files in your UT2004 install directory. Look for the entries:

Menu="XAN"
Menu="CHANLORD"
Menu="MALCOLM"

and edit all three so that they read:

MENU="SP"

Do that for all three, and the three hidden players (Xan, Malcolm and ChanLord)
will be unlocked.
