Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness чит-файл №3

Welcome to The Gallery of War! This an guide open to all. If you have any
thing to say about Warcraft II (Tips and stuff) send it to me! I'll find some
way to fit it in the next issue. I don't want multi-player tips! Keep your own
secrets!!

<<<=======TIPS AND TACTICS=======>>>

Greetings, some of the following contributions are OPINIONS. You are not in
any way, shape, or form, required to agree with them. They are simply meant to
assit you in gameplay. If you disagree, DON'T USE IT! Simple enough??

1. Don't bother with archers\axethrowers any longer than you absolutely have
to. Once you can get Knights\Ogres, leave them at home. Upgrading to
Rangers\Berserkers doesn't help any.

2. When you build up your fleet, make sure you have more
Battleships\Jugarnauts than smaller ships. They are slower, but high firepower
makes them unstoppable in groups of four or more.

3. When you are invading somewhere, make sure you bring 2-3 FULL transports of
troops. While 12-18 troops can be hard to manage, but they kick some serious
butt!
-contributed by Sir Sigman, Defender of the Realm, 102422,1426

4. Bloodlust is an awesome spell. Always use it before an attack. This
powerful spell can enable five Ogres to crush a tower in seconds. Just let
your Bloodlusted Ogres loose on an enemy town. Remember to keep them is some
kind of order, because sometimes the tend to wander off into enemy defense
alone.

5. One of the meanest thing you can do to the enemy is blow up their fortress
or castle. Destroy all towers so that you can make a clean path to the castle.
Train 9-12 demo squads and send them straight at the castle. If you suceed
then they'll have to build a new town hall and if your lucky they'll be out of
cash.

6. Sometimes the computer sends peasants straight at your gold mine without
sending troops. If are the Orcs send trolls to guard the mine, then have about
4 Death Knights raise the dead peasants. When you get 9 skelatons, cast haste
on them and send them in for an attack. They will destroy a cannon tower
easily because they are small and the cannon can barely hit them.
-contributed by The Arch-Wizard Stony, 71112,1753

7. Keep Death Knights well away from Paladins, until the coast is clear. Never
use them in defense of your base.

8. Go for raise dead if you are an Orc player, aim for blizzard if you are
humans. Ignore unholy armor and polymorph respectivly.
-contributed by Alec Shaw, 106210,2340

9. Don't waste your time with footmen\grunts, they are pretty much to weak to
do anything. Keep a couple of them at the begining of the game accomponied by
a large group of archers\axethrowers. While you only need footmen\grunts at
the begining of the game, you need archers\axethrowers throught the whole
game.

10. No matter what get your mages\death knights blizzard\death and decay.
These spells will obliterate towers with about 100 mana points.

11. Gryphons\dragons are good if you use them properly. When attack a town
with them, bring a force of 8 gryphons (9 will cause them to hurt each other)
and attack all towers and archers\axethrowers you can. When their hit points
are low (gryphons only) retreat and heal them with your Paladins. NOTE FROM
THE EDITOR: MANY PEOPLE OVERLOOK THAT FACT. Now go in for another attack
wiping out all towers and archers\axethrowers. When these are gone, send in
all your forces and smash the town.

<<<=======ASSAULT FORCE OF THE WEEK=======>>>

The following force is about good for anything. It can be a little costly
though, but if you have the cash, this force can kick some butt. This force is
so mean that my computer turned off when I used it.

0=Ogre-Mages w/Bloodlust, Level 7
X=Troll Bereserkers w/regeneration, lighter axes
D=Death Knights w/Decay
+=Sappers

<<<=======MEAN THINGS OF THE WEEK=======>>>

This section is the one you can have the most fun with. It will have some mean
things you can do to the computer that don't seem fair. Don't get me wrong,
these mean things are perfectly legal. The only thing illeagal in Warcraft II
is cheating! A word from me to you: DON'T CHEAT!

For the first two mean things of the week see tips 5 and 6!

The third mean thing of the week is a simple sentence: Polymorph enemy heros!
He,he,he...

The final mean thing is: Send an eye of Killrogg over a Battleship. If any
destroyers are nearby they'll fire at the eye, hitting the Battleship!

<<<=======SPECIAL DEPARTMENT=======>>>

This issue's special department: The Magik Faceoff. This will compare orcish
magiks to human magiks!

Fireball vs. Death Coil
This is no contest. Death Coil wins by a landslide! It is more accurate, more
powerful, and way easier to use. Plus, the Death Knight gets hit points from
the target!

Slow vs. Haste
This one here's kinda close. I'd have to say haste wins by a last second shot.
It can speed up anything. Catupults move like cars when hasted! Slow only
really works good when used on dragons.

Raise Dead vs. Flame Shield
Ok, tell me this, who uses flame sheild more than raise dead? Raise dead wins
by two touchdowns. Units for free with raise dead! When hasted the undead
rocks. Flame shield works good on sappers and subs.

Invisiblity vs. Unholy Armor
A good even match here. But it looks like Invisiblity wins by a run in the the
11th inning. An invisable mage can sneak pass defense and unleash a blizzard.
The problem is getting out.

Whirlwind vs. Polymorph
It seems that polymorph wins by 3 goals. Dragons to sheep. Ogres to boars.
Death Knights to seals. Oops, I blew up two of my towers when that darn
twister made it back to my town.

Death and Decay vs. Blizzard
Now who can compare these two wonderful spells? They are both to grrrreat to
lose to another. Stalemate.

Gotta good faceoff? Send it to me! You'll get the credit, don't worry!
