Sefton Hill
Sefton Hill is an English video game director, writer and creative director of Rocksteady Studios.
Career
Hill started his career in the video game industry in 1996. After working for some time at Argonaut Games, he alongside Jamie Walker founded Rocksteady Studios. He was an exclusive producer of the studio’s debut project Urban Chaos: Riot Response. Hill is best-known for his contribution in the Batman Arkham series. He was a director for every main game in the series except Batman Arkham: Origins which was developed by another studio. Sefton wrote the story for the second game in the series – Batman: Arkham City which became one of the best-received titles of its generation. The game’s story was considered to be one of the stronger aspects of the game. Aside from the main series, Hill was also creative director of Batman: Arkham VR, a series’ spin-off developed for virtual reality headsets.
